Donato Galasso
The professional journey of Donato Galasso began in the engineering field as a Technical-Commercial Engineer for multinational air conditioning companies, prior to founding the agency GalassoEventi in 2006, which specialized in events, exhibit design, communication, and advertising. Earlier in 2005, he designed, created, and managed the VIP lounge for Empoli FC at the Carlo Castellani Stadium, turning it into a central hub for supporters and corporate public relations.
Driven by a passion for the Food & Beverage sector, he subsequently developed several successful hospitality concepts across Tuscany. In San Miniato, he launched Rosso Antico in 2011 and La Prosciutteria in 2014, the latter expanding its seating capacity in 2016 to meet growing demand and corporate lunch traffic. Between 2014 and 2015, he transformed an 18th-century furnace into La Fornace Spazio Events & Catering, which grew into a premier venue between Pisa and Florence for private functions, corporate events, and immersive sensory catering. His footprint in the region was further consolidated in 2016 with the reopening of La Terrazza Miravalle in San Miniato 2014 focusing on modernized traditional Tuscan cuisine 2014 and in 2019 with the launch of Il Ramerino Bottega con Cucina in the historic center of Empoli.
In early 2021, Donato Galasso expanded his operations internationally by securing a contract in Geneva, Switzerland, to provide Facility Services and Food & Beverage management within the RPN construction site for the UN building renovation. Leveraging the organizational and management expertise built over the years, his company (DGE) also delivered high-profile luxury events in Geneva, including the Gala Dinner for the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland in 2022, the Gala Evening for the AICC, and the official inauguration event for the Valentino boutique in 2023.
